iro·ny noun \ˈī-rə-nē also ˈī(-ə)r-nē\: incongruity between the actual result of a sequence of events and the normal or expected result
The hardest part about relationships, beit family members, romance, whatever - is finally giving a loved one to God while you watch them choose everything but Glory. It's a hard thing, this reality that we can't change people, only He can, which is contrary to culture's message of, "You can control everything if you just wish it into existence." Well, if this kind of heartache isn't the greatest shutdown of that idea ever, I don't know what else is. I so much wish that I could choose a path for both of you that I know will end at the feet of Christ, but I don't control the will of Him who made us. I only stand in awe of what He desires and doth do.
The will of God is the epitome of irony in man's life.
My hardest lesson ever learned.
Forever,
Me.
